The Honest Answer to Your Concern
Think you can dig a stump out yourself? Most stumps have roots wider than the canopy. Grinding is faster, cheaper, and doesn't tear up your whole yard.
Stump Grinding & Removal FAQ
How deep do you grind a stump?
We grind 6–12 inches below grade, enough to cover with soil and replant or sod over the spot.
Will the stump grow back?
No. Grinding removes the living core of the stump so it won't sprout. Some deep roots remain but decay naturally.
Can I plant a new tree in the same spot?
Yes, after we grind and backfill. We can also remove the major roots if you're pouring concrete or building.
